It's evening. Shalini has just returned from the office. Lying on her bed, she opens WhatsApp for the 100th time, clicks on Mohit's number, and looks at the last message she sent him that morning. Viewed, but not replied. She wanted him to respond by sparking jealousy in him, but now she wonders, “Why hasn't he replied yet? Why does nothing stir any emotion in him? Why is he so practical? As Mohit sits in a client meeting, fully engaged, a sudden ping disrupts his focus. His eyes flick to the screen, and as he reads the message, shock and anger grip him tightly.
